Pertinent Folly
The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery
Stoke-on-Trent
2002

The exhibition Pertinent Folly (The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery), gave me an opportunity to build on the approach developed for Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum. I was invited to radically re-present the extensive collection of Goya prints at PMAG – in order to trigger associations with unfolding contemporary events. For both projects, conservation approval was intrinsic to the realization of the work.
